We look forward to a response to our letter to FreeAndEqual re a ThirdPartyAlliance. Yes, we still feel that Roseanne Barr and a Socialist party (Barr is on the Peace & Freedom Party ticket in California, e.g.) should have been included in the first debate; we are sorry for the misunderstanding re FreeAndEqual saying that “all other candidates would cancel” if Barr was included. ( It was perhaps only your opinion, rather than a fact; later confirmed fact, though, was that Rocky Anderson, Johnson, and Goode would not have canceled with Barr’s presence.) We do know, however, that Jill stein probably would have canceled if Roseanne Barr had been present, as she did do because of Roseanne Barr being invited – for a huge planned event in Los Angeles. We felt this to be a prejudicial and unwarranted decision on the part of Jill Stein. Good luck…

3 candinate comparison sheet ron paul, obama and rommney: http://www.dailypaul.com/260894/3-candidate-comparison-sheet-ron-paul-obama-and-romney

Ron Paul has enough write in states to win the election at 302 with extra to SPARE not including unknown States. Get out the Congressman Ron Paul/Judge Andrew Napolitano WRITE IN VOTE: http://www.dailypaul.com/261529/sodahead-congrats-to-supporters-of-ron-paul-your-efforts-have-forced-30-states-to-agree-to-count-write-in-votes

    • Dan

You have to be registered as running in order to be elected President. Ron Paul is not registered. He lost the Republican nomination and did not apply for a third party run or a write-in candidacy. A vote for him will not be counted, unfortunately.

  • Don’tbelievethelies

Just for giggles you should include Fox News in this list. I bet they wouldn’t even answer the emails

  • Dorothy

I contacted Current. I have never watched them, so I explained to them that for them to air this, they would gain new viewers. I checked their programming, and it isn’t anything that couldn’t be pre-empted. I’m not sure that they would show it given how pro-Dem they are, but maybe they will surprise us.

    • Zephyr López Cervilla

You forgot to check the ton of electoral propaganda that has been programmed for tonight. They may have agreed to maintain the usual program schedule to maximize the effect of all their propaganda. On the other hand, an alternative presidential debate may cause counterproductive effects on their electorate.

      • Dorothy

Turns out I have a channel that is broadcasting it on DirecTV. FSTV aka RT America channel 348 is broadcasting it. As for what I forgot to check, I looked at the schedule and saw their regular shows. I understand that Joy, Eliot, etc. will be discussing the election, but it isn’t like they have a special. You’d think they’d want this to be broadcast because of the assumption that votes would be lost to GJ that “should be” voting for Romney. As if my vote is owned by anyone other than me. So Current should want to pump up Gary.

  • John Link

Is tonight’s debate going to be broadcast on TV? If so, what networks will carry it?
